How does it heat up? Do I need a microwave?
No microwave, no hot water, no cord. Ocuelle™ has a built-in rechargeable battery. Just charge, put it on, press the heat button and choose your desired level: 95°F, 113°F or 131°F.
How long and how often should I use it?
15 minutes is more than sufficient, once a day. Mornings work best, when your eyes feel most gritty. You can add a second session in the evening if you like.
We recommend setting a 15-minute timer for each warm session.
Is it safe? Will it get too hot?
Start on the lowest setting (95°F), about as warm as a warm bath, and only go up if it feels comfortable. The 3D contoured frame puts no pressure on your eyelids and will not smudge eye makeup.
Take it off if it ever feels too hot. If you've had recent eye surgery, have an eye infection, or have reduced feeling in your skin, consult your doctor before use.
How long does the battery last?
Up to 8 hours per full charge, which is plenty of 15-minute sessions. When it runs low, recharge it with the USB-C cable. It's fully cordless while you wear it.
How do I clean it?
Wipe the mask gently with a damp cloth, then let it air-dry completely before charging. Do not put it in water or the washing machine, as it contains a battery.
